FAQ’s

We specialise in supported accommodation for adults with mental health needs, offering a structured living environment that encourages recovery and self-development.

1 What services does CMC provide?

We offer holistic support for individuals experiencing mental health challenges. Our core services include:

  • Safe and supportive housing
  • Counselling and emotional support
  • Daily living assistance
  • Skill-building and rehabilitation programs
  • Community reintegration support
2Who can access your services?
Our services are available to individuals aged 18 and above who are living with mental health conditions and require supportive housing or community-based recovery assistance. We also support families and caregivers.
3How do I refer someone or apply for support?
You can fill out our online referral/enquiry form or contact our team directly via phone or email. We will conduct an initial assessment to understand the individual’s needs and recommend the best support plan.
4Is there a cost involved?
Our services are either subsidized, fully funded (through partnerships or grants), or offered at affordable rates. We assess each case individually and provide transparent information about any fees, if applicable.
5Do you provide medical treatment or psychiatric care?
While we focus on psychosocial support and community living, we work closely with mental health professionals. We can refer individuals to trusted psychiatrists, hospitals, or clinics when medical intervention is needed.
6How is your housing different from a hospital or care home?
CMC provides a home-like, non-institutional environment. Our focus is on nurturing independence, community integration, and emotional wellbeing — not confinement or clinical care.
7Can families stay in touch or visit residents?
Yes. Family involvement is encouraged as part of the recovery process. Visits can be scheduled in consultation with our care team, and regular updates can be shared with consent.
8How long can someone stay in your housing?
Length of stay varies depending on individual needs — from short-term recovery stays to long-term supported living. We work with each person to plan their journey toward independent living.
9 Is your facility inclusive and non-discriminatory?
Absolutely. We are committed to providing a respectful, inclusive, and non-judgmental space for all, regardless of background, gender, religion, or orientation.
10Can I volunteer or work with CMC?
Yes! We welcome volunteers, mental health professionals, social workers, and individuals passionate about community care. Please reach out to info@clearmindcare.co.uk for current opportunities.
